Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun
• Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development standards and mandated reporting laws when necessary
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about daily activities, progress, and any concerns
• Provide first aid and CPR when needed, maintaining safety at all times
• Support behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions and emotional growth
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times in accordance with individual needs

Experience

• Prior experience working with children of various ages, especially infants through elementary school age
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
• Experience in teaching or youth programs that involve activity planning for children
• Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; ongoing training preferred
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members to ensure a collaborative caregiving environment

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
