Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to providing personalized care and support in various settings, including home care, group homes, and community environments.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Support individuals with disabilities, including autism and dementia care, ensuring their specific needs are met.
• Help clients engage in social activities and maintain their independence within the community.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home community care or hospice care is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial for ensuring client safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
