Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to healthcare professionals.
• Give medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including clinics, teaching hospitals, and trauma centers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document care provided accurately and timely in compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and assisting clients as needed.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
