Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, creativity, and social skills.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times by adhering to childhood development best practices, behavior management techniques, and mandated reporting laws.
• Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations while maintaining calmness and professionalism.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster trust and transparency.
• Support early childhood education by teaching foundational skills through play-based learning experiences.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages safe play and learning opportunities for children.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
• Demonstrated experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, or youth programs teaching roles.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive behavior in children.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents or guardians about children's needs and progress.
