Home Health Caregiver Service Locations: Waukesha County and Lake Country

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible shifts available

Pay Rage: $16-$18 per hour

Position Summary Here at BrightStar Care of Greater Waukesha and Lake Country , we are seeking a dedicated Home Health Caregiver to join our home health team. This role provides essential hands-on support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain comfort, independence, and safety. Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
• Support activities of daily living such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for each patient

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Ability to work around pets (preferred)
• Auto insurance and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
• Experience in home health or caregiving strongly (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in the home setting
