Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of home care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring additional help in their daily activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of your clients within their home environment.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring any changes in health are reported to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety.
• Perform patient observation to identify any changes in behavior or health status.
• Facilitate medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapies.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or home health settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CPR techniques and first aid is advantageous.
• Strong observational skills for effective patient monitoring.
• Ability to assist with heavy lifting as needed for client mobility.
• A background in nursing or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
