Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for youth facing behavioral challenges.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, creativity, and social skills.
• Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices, child supervision protocols, and mandated reporting laws.
• Administer basic first aid and CPR in case of emergencies, maintaining a safe environment at all times.
• Meal preparation, dropping and picking up from school, medical appointments and other errands.
• Encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation and assist with daily routines

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
• Prior experience caring for youths.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that foster learning and fun while ensuring safety.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood behavior guidance strategies.
