Are you a compassionate, dependable, and caring person who enjoys helping others? Companion Care at Your Door is looking for dedicated caregivers to provide companionship and everyday assistance to adults who need a helping hand to maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

We are looking for caring individuals who enjoy building meaningful relationships and making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing friendly companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Accompanying clients on walks and recreational outings
• Assisting clients with everyday activities around the home
• Performing light housekeeping and keeping the home tidy
• Doing laundry and changing bed linens as needed
• Preparing meals and assisting with meal planning
• Accompanying clients to grocery stores, shopping trips, and errands
• Escorting clients to doctor’s appointments and other scheduled outings
• Providing reminders and general assistance with daily routines
• Helping clients remain comfortable, safe, engaged, and independent

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working with adults and older individuals
• Previous caregiving or companion care experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass applicable background checks and meet hiring requirements

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 25.0 per week

Work Location: In person
