Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring home health care. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home or community setting.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring any changes are reported to healthcare professionals.
• Perform patient observation to identify any health concerns or changes in condition.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Help clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop personalized care plans.

Skills

• Strong background in home care, senior care, or home community care is preferred.
• Ability to perform patient observation effectively and report changes accurately.
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid practices is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately with clients and their families.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility needs.
• Familiarity with basic health monitoring techniques, including taking vital signs.
• A nurturing attitude towards providing assistance and support in a home health setting.
