Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide attentive support and assistance to children and individuals . The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for caregiving, along with extensive experience working with young children and individuals with special needs. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing environment while promoting developmental growth, independence, and well-being. Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene management in accordance with individual needs.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, social skills, and physical development.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including child supervision during playtime and outings.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise.
• Administer basic first aid or CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety guidelines.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their unique needs while fostering independence and inclusion.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health standards and promotes a positive atmosphere for children’s growth.
• Pay dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers; experience with children with disabilities is highly valued.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in mandated reporting laws is preferred.
• Strong activity planning skills tailored to different age groups and developmental stages.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively through effective behavior management techniques.
• Previous experience in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is advantageous.
• Compassionate demeanor combined with patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to caregiving responsibilities.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
