Position Overview

As a Home Care Aide at Solace Hill, you’ll deliver unskilled personal care services — helping clients with daily tasks while offering kindness, consistency, and companionship. You are not expected to perform medical duties but will play a vital role in each client’s emotional and physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
• Support with mobility: walking, transfers, positioning
• Provide light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying rooms
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals based on client preferences
• Assist with errands and appointments (as assigned)
• Remind clients to take medications — strictly no administration or handling
• Offer companionship: engage in conversation, light activities, emotional support
• Observe and report changes in condition to care coordinators

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Ability to pass a background check
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and light household duties
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential for success in this role
• Previous experience in caregiving or related healthcare fields is preferred, particularly in geriatrics or inpatient settings
