Must Provide attentive supervision and care for individual with special needs.

Must have own reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, dressing, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety.
• Support individual with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their specific needs while promoting independence and confidence.
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding daily progress, behavior updates, and any concerns that arise during caregiving hours.
• Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety of children in your care by promptly reporting any signs of neglect or abuse.
• Administer basic first aid or CPR when necessary to address minor injuries or emergencies swiftly and effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience working as a caregiver preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to care for individual with disabilities or special needs with patience and understanding.
• Certification in first aid and CPR from a recognized organization; ongoing training.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with parents.
• Experience with behavior management strategies that promote positive reinforcement and emotional regulation.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
