Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether in a group home setting or through home care services. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence while adhering to care plans and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
• Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Follow individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Support clients with dementia care by providing patience and understanding during daily interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or long-term care settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality is essential.
• Ability to lift and assist clients safely while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Experience working in group homes or providing specialized care for individuals with dementia is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial.
