Caregiver

Looking for a patient, dependable caretaker who truly understands special-needs children.

We’re seeking a caring and consistent nanny/caregiver with hands-on experience caring for children with special needs to become a trusted part of our son’s routine in Windermere. We’re looking for more than just supervision—we want someone who will get to know him, build trust with him, and provide the patience, structure, and consistency he needs.

Flexible Schedule

Some Mondays–Fridays

8:00AM-9:00 AM: Morning routine and school drop-off

3:00PM-8:00 PM: School pickup, activities, homework assistance, snack, dinner, and evening routine

Some Saturdays-Sundays

10:00AM–7:00 PM: Activities, meals, outings, supervision, and evening routine

Pay: $16.50/hour Guaranteed WEEKLY PAY

Previous hands-on experience caring for children with special needs is REQUIRED.

Because consistency and routine are especially important for our son, reliability is extremely important to our family. We’re looking for someone interested in a consistent, long-term position who can commit to the agreed-upon schedule.

Requirements:

• Previous hands-on experience caring for children with special needs

CPRand First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification

• Must be a swimmer and comfortable swimming with and supervising our son at a pool
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable transporting our son to school, activities, outings, and the pool
• Able to assist with homework and prepare simple meals
• Patient, nurturing, and comfortable following an established routine
• Most importantly, we want someone who will genuinely care about our son and become a safe, trusted, and consistent person in his life.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
