Role Overview The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.

Responsibilities include leading shift assignments, managing attendance, providing hands-on ADL support, reviewing charting to align with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), monitoring resident changes, and communicating concerns promptly.

Additionally, the role involves supporting onboarding and mentoring new team members, promoting safety and compliance, and facilitating smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.

Key skills encompass strong communication, delegation, decision-making, and experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care. The role requires professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service, both as a working caregiver and a frontline leader.
