Caregiver ( Full Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care, companionship, and daily living support. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized care in various settings, including residential care homes, community environments, and assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to help clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes or signs of distress
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and document all related activities accurately
• Engage residents in recreational activities, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to foster a safe and welcoming environment
• Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling procedures to prevent injury for both clients and caregivers
• Maintain resident’s rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individual preferences at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings is highly preferred one year required
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is perfered; additional certifications related to caregiving or medication administration are advantageous
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus
• Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely for transportation needs
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks safely
• A compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 48.0 per week
