Caregiver / Personal Support Worker

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring under supervision or as trained
• Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through companionship and engagement in recreational activities
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Assist with transfers and heavy lifting to ensure client safety during movement or repositioning
• Document care provided accurately and communicate any changes in condition to healthcare professionals

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in patient care, dementia care, hospice support or caring for individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
• Familiarity with meal preparation that meets specific dietary requirements
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Compassionate attitude combined with reliability and attention to detail

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
