Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Provide medication reminders and support adherence to prescribed treatment plans under supervision.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
• Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Support clients during outings or appointments, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care, healthcare, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively; experience with emergency medicine is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures, medication management, and safety protocols.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
