Duties

• Assist clients with minimal hygiene care
• Assist clients with self-administration of medications
• Provide compassionate care for individuals with cognitive disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Assist with meal preparation
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, client progress, and incident reports
• Support residents in residential care homes or community settings by fostering independence and dignity

Skills

• Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs measurement, and first aid/CPR certification
• Ability to operate standard passenger cars safely for client transportation
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and resident engagement strategies
• Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to safety and client well-being

Requirements

• Ability to pass health screening/TB test a requirement
• Pass fingerprint clearance with DOJ/FBI
• Authorization to work in USA
• Ability to drive a van
• Communication in English a must

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
