We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and detail-oriented Caregiver/Med passer to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality personal care and medication assistance to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings. Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring resident safety at all times
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status
• Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care strategies
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and repositioning
• Maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for medication administration and resident observations
• Follow resident’s rights policies diligently to promote dignity and respect in all interactions

Requirements

• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments with a focus on senior or long-term care
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring
• Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer’s care techniques as well as behavior management strategies
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is highly valued
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
