Caregivers Needed

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. Duties

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition updates
• Support with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Help with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods
• Maintain accurate care plans and document patient progress while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Assist with light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Support patients during medical appointments or community outings using personal transportation assistance

Experience

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s care), memory care, and hospice care practices
• Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous
• Familiarity with care equipment such as Hoyer lifts, manual handling tools, and patient monitoring devices
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to healthcare or caregiving are a plus
• Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with clients, families, healthcare teams, and other caregivers
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques
• Experience working within HIPAA guidelines ensuring patient privacy at all times

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
