Carer

St. Davids Care in the Community is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our friendly team. Our Care Homes are made up of wonderful residents who require support with their daily activities, and we are looking for someone who is committed to providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with their personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Providing support with mobility, including helping residents to move around the care home safely.
• Preparing and serving meals, as well as assisting with feeding as necessary.
• Administering medication according to individual care plans.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Keeping accurate records of care provided and reporting any concerns or changes in condition to the senior team.

Requirements:

• A caring and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Experience in a similar care role is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Part-time upon request

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 48.0 per week
