Carer

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregiver to provide support with daily living activities and help clients maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life. The ideal candidate will be attentive to clients’ needs, follow care instructions, and provide companionship in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities.
• Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Support medication routines in accordance with prescribed instructions and applicable regulations.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Offer companionship through conversation, games, hobbies, and other meaningful activities.
• Observe and promptly report changes in clients’ health, behaviour, or overall condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Follow care plans and instructions while respecting each client’s privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience or experience in a related field is an advantage but not essential.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage responsibilities reliably.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo and pass required background checks and drug screening.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28.0 per week
