Care/Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care/Support Worker to join our team located on the Rosneath Peninsula (G84 area). The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to Service Users within their own home. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of Service Users.
• Administer medication when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in care settings is desirable but not required as training will be provided
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Service Users and their families.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and understanding towards Service Users with diverse needs.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of Service Users at all times.
• Drivers license required due to geographic location.
