Caretaker

We are looking for a full-time Caretaker to join out team in Dublin 3

Working pattern: Monday-Sunday shifts

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Secure the premises, manage keys, and operate security and fire alarm systems.
• Report any security breaches or suspicious activity.
• Attend to after-hours security incidents and ensure the premises are safe.
• Operate and maintain the heating and lighting systems efficiently.
• Inspect and report defects in fire-fighting equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas.
• Ensure pathways are clear of snow and ice.
• Replenish hygiene supplies and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Receive and transport deliveries, including furniture and supplies.
• Prepare rooms for events and general use.
• Oversee contractor work and report any deviations.
• Maintain records of supplies and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and support other facility-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

• General Health and Safety knowledge and understanding
• Experience in a Caretaking, Cleaning
• Good English level for any verbal or written communications
• A good level of maintenance / DIY skills would be advantageous
• Garda vetting is required for this role
