CARGO ACCOUNTING

• Accurately process and reconcile air and ocean freight invoices, ensuring timely payment to carriers and vendors.
• Manage accounts receivable for cargo services, diligently following up on outstanding payments and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses related to cargo revenue, expenses, and profitability for management review.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with cargo-specific financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in freight or logistics accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of cargo industry terminology, rates, and operational flows.
