Cargo Consultant – India

Scope of Work

• Develop and implement cargo sales and business development strategies across India.
• Identify and onboard new freight forwarders, agents, and key trade partners.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and stakeholders.
• Support cargo operations including coordination of bookings, capacity management, shipment handling, and documentation processes.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and revenue growth recommendations.
• Assist in establishing operational procedures and improving service efficiency.
• Represent the company at industry meetings, trade events, and client engagements.
• Work closely with airlines, GSSAs, handlers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless coordination.

Desired Profile

• Proven experience in cargo sales, business development, and operations within the air cargo/logistics industry.
• Strong network within the Indian freight forwarding and cargo trade community.
• Good understanding of airline cargo operations and commercial processes.
• Self-driven, commercially focused, and capable of working independently.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with airlines, GSSAs, freight forwarders, or logistics companies in India will be highly preferred.
