Cargo Delivery Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products along designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured and accounted for.
• Utilize a pallet jack for efficient handling of goods during deliveries where necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling of goods is essential.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
