What you'll be doing

• Loading and unloading cargo from aircraft, vehicles, and storage areas with precision and care
• Identifying, sorting, and organizing cargo shipments according to destination and handling requirements
• Operating cargo handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery
• Verifying cargo documentation against shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of cargo handling areas and storage facilities
• Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective equipment at all times
• Assisting with the stacking and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transport
• Reporting any damaged cargo, discrepancies, or operational issues to supervisors
• Collaborating with team members to meet operational targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy items regularly
• Experience in cargo handling, warehousing, or a similar logistics environment
• Familiarity with cargo handling equipment and machinery operation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing shipments and documentation
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to meeting operational schedules
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
