Cargo Handling Technician

CAV SUPPLY CHAIN CORP. is hiring a reliable Cargo Handling Technician to join our growing logistics team. You’ll help load, unload, inspect, organize, and prepare freight while keeping operations safe, accurate, and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Load, unload, sort, stage, and move freight safely and efficiently.
• Inspect cargo for damage, labeling, and shipment accuracy.
• Palletize, wrap, label, and secure shipments for transport.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Update inventory and shipment information in warehouse systems.
• Work with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to keep freight moving.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures and report issues promptly.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse, shipping, cargo, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Basic computer and inventory skills.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus — training may be provided.
• Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts when needed.

Pay: $23.20 - $26.74 per hour
