Responsibilities

• Operate cargo vans, to transport cargo efficiently across designated routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
• Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices and digital tracking tools
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, route schedules, and company policies during all driving activities
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and professional interactions with clients
• Safely handle heavy loads, perform manual handling tasks, and manage weight distribution in compliance with workplace safety guidelines

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a focus on warehouse operations and material handling
• Demonstrated ability to operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or van drivers with manual transmission proficiency
• Familiarity with warehouse environments, including the use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and load & unload procedures
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices related to heavy lifting and moving tasks
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively during deliveries
• Valid driver’s license suitable for operating commercial vehicles; clean driving record preferred
• Experience in route driving, load management, and adhering to safety protocols for weight handling in the workplace
• Regular insurance is fine no commercial insurance is need
• Haul multiple loads going the same area to fill up your van
• You can work with other companies as well
• Rate is $1 per mile
