Cargo Team Leader Trainee

About the role

Supervise and deliver an efficient, high-quality service to all reservations, Cargo & ticketing booking across all sites. The Cargo Team Leader Trainee will need to display excellent communication skills and ensure the highest standard of customer service is maintained throughout the Sales and Marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Brief the sales and marketing team daily with relevant information and updates about the department's target
• Organize the attendance and trip schedule of Cargo and Truck Drivers
• Monitor movement of cargo from Origin to Destination
• Consolidate cargo sales and volume report
• Work alongside the Supervisor to provide relevant and ongoing training to the R&T/Cargo team
• Handle customer escalations via telephone, email, and customer service platforms
• Ensure adherence to the company's data protection policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and assist with updating the database
• Maintain customer service excellence
• Act as the Cargo and Ticket Office Duty Manager when required

About you

• College diploma or degree
• Minimum of 2 years work experience as Team Leader in the customer service and sales industry
• Sales related work experience
• Willing to undergo training
• Willing to undergo shifting schedule and holiday work
• Average to excellent English Skills is a plus
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Willing to work and be assigned to different sites
• Willing to travel for work
• Able to work 48 hours a week and overtime as necessary
