In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a cargo van to deliver goods efficiently and reliably to our customers. This job is an OTR ( over the road), which involves driving to different states. Serious inquires only.

• Safely operate a cargo van for deliveries, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• 99 % no touch freights and ensuring proper handling of goods
• Load and unload goods only when required.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route-driving software to maximize productivity.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, including verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safe operation at all times.

Skill

• Familiarity with commercial truck driving, box trucks, or van driving preferred; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong background in over-the-road driving and commercial driving, preferably.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks if needed
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment requires heavy lifting(only when needed) and moving tasks.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations.
• Must be able to pass a background check, DOT physical, and a drug test (initial and random)
• No SAP (Substance Abuse Program) participant.
