Cargo - Warehouse Agent

Permanent Full-Time Position
Rotational shift roster 7 days a week, across a 24-hour period operation is a critical requirement (4 days on, 2 days off)

Overview
Whether you’re loading or unloading, manually or mechanically, you’ll be a safe pair of hands that gets Cargo wherever it needs to be, and at the right time. You’ll carry out aircraft and equipment inspections and hazard checks, reporting any faults and taking care of the paperwork needed to get the job done. Following safety, security and airline-specific procedures, you’ll put our customers’ - and their customers’ - needs at the heart of everything you do.

This role involves heavy lifting and previous experience in loading and/or warehousing would be an advantage. Your shift will consist of the following: -

• Drive between aircraft and airport terminals or cargo buildings
• Load and unload aircraft
• Operate equipment such as cargo and belt loaders, lift trucks, ramp tractors, tugs and loading systems

Requirements

• Warehouse experience 1+ years
• Available to work rotating shift work
• Full Driver's license
• Be physically fit
• Have the right to work in NZ (NZ Citizen or Resident)
• Quick thinking and able to make good judgments
• Hold a forklift license

Successful applicants will also need to undergo a NZ Police check, Airport Security check and medical assessment. Full uniform, training and free car parking are provided

Ensure Company policies, rules and Health and Safety in the Environment Act 1992 or any other legislative requirements are adhered to during:

*Operating the tug vehicle in the process of delivering cargo to and from aircraft, staging area and cargo warehouse.
*The pick-up and delivery of all outbound cargo from cargo warehouse to aircraft and/or staging area ensuring correct quantities
*Daily inspection of aircraft loading, tug vehicles, for preventative maintenance and ensuring all vehicles are fueled and operational.
