CargoWise Trainer

About the role

The CargoWise Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for employees on the use of the CargoWise system and related operational processes. The role ensures that employees understand the system, workflows, and procedures required to perform their functions accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and on-the-job training on CargoWise and related operational processes
• Develop and update training materials, manuals, presentations, exercises, and assessments
• Provide hands-on demonstrations of CargoWise processes and system functionalities
• Train new hires and existing employees on CargoWise workflows based on their assigned roles
• Assess trainees' knowledge, system proficiency, and readiness to perform their assigned tasks
• Provide coaching and additional support to employees who require further training
• Coordinate with Operations and subject matter experts to ensure training content is aligned with current client requirements and operational procedures
• Identify common errors, knowledge gaps, and training needs and recommend appropriate improvements
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance results
• Keep training materials and procedures updated based on system changes, process updates, and client requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2 years experience as CargoWise Trainer, SME, Team Leader, or Process Trainer
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, and CargoWise workflows
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to develop clear and easy-to-understand training materials
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments
• CargoWise certification
• Experience in training employees in a BPO environment.
