Carhop/Fountain

Job Summary

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Deliver hot, fresh food directly to customers’ vehicles or tables promptly and professionally.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments efficiently, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Upsell menu items by suggesting additional products or specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Prepare simple food items when needed, following food safety guidelines and sanitation standards to ensure quality and cleanliness.
• Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with food prep or packaging as required in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including counters, serving stations, and dining spaces, adhering to sanitation regulations.
• Assist with food handling duties such as stocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously while ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
• Support team members by performing duties like bussing tables or assisting in the kitchen to keep operations smooth during peak hours.
• Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety to uphold our commitment to a safe environment for staff and guests alike.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, retail math, cashiering or cashier experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• Culinary experience or background working in quick service & fast food restaurants enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Strong time management skills are essential for multitasking efficiently during busy periods.
• Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environments will help you thrive in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills are important for maintaining operational excellence.
