About the Role

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Residential Carpenter to handle a wide range of custom woodworking, window, and door projects directly in our clients' homes. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and installing high-quality interior and exterior wood features, ensuring superior craft skills and professional customer service on every job site.

Key Responsibilities

• Window & Door Installation: Measure, frame, fit, and install new interior and exterior doors, trim, and window units to exact specs and code standards.
• Custom Woodworking & Builds: Craft and assemble custom trim, casing, baseboards, door frames, cabinetry, and other specialty residential wood projects.
• Repairs & Restoration: Diagnose issues and execute repairs on existing wooden window frames, sash, thresholds, door jams, hardware, and structural elements.
• In-Home Client Interaction: Perform work inside active residential homes while maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful job site with minimal disruption to homeowners.
• Site Preparation & Cleanup: Take precise measurements, prepare openings, apply proper flashing and insulation, and clean up workspace daily.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of professional residential carpentry, specifically with windows, doors, and finish trim work.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools (miter saws, routers, planers, pneumatic nailers) and precise measuring/leveling techniques.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with homeowners in their personal spaces.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, work on ladders, and operate in varying indoor/outdoor weather conditions.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass a standard background check.
