Role Summary:

Adecco is seeking a skilled carpenter to join a reputable construction company in Dunedin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, including new builds, renovations and alterations.

We're looking for a reliable tradesperson who takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a professional site team. Ongoing and long-term opportunities are available for the right person.

Responsibilities May Include:

• Residential new builds, renovations and alteration projects.
• Timber framing, structural carpentry and exterior installations.
• Interior finishing, including skirting, architraves and hardware.
• Reading plans and interpreting specifications.
• Measuring, cutting and assembling materials.
• Working alongside builders, subcontractors and other trades.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety.

Applicant Requirements

• New Zealand trade-qualified Carpenter (preferred).
• Proven residential carpentry experience.
• Good understanding of NZ building practices.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Own basic carpentry tools.
• Reliable transport and a full driver's licence preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to health and safety on site.
• Able to provide two work references.
