Carpenter

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong practical skills, attention to detail, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general carpentry and joinery work
• Read and work from drawings, plans and specifications
• Measure, cut and install timber and other materials accurately
• Carry out first and second fix carpentry
• Install doors, frames, skirting, architraves and other timber products
• Complete repairs, alterations and maintenance work where required
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Good knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
• Ability to work accurately and pay close attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Own tools preferred
• Relevant qualifications or CSCS card
