Carpenter

Job Summary

The Build Concept Group Inc. is looking for an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our construction team in Ottawa.

Duties

• Perform general carpentry work for construction and renovation projects.
• Framing, forming, installation, repair, and replacement of wood components.
• Read and follow drawings, measurements, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install lumber, plywood, and other construction materials.
• Perform demolition and preparation work as required.
• Assist with balcony, deck, structural repair, and exterior renovation work.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and elevated work platforms when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and Ontario construction safety requirements.
• Work effectively with supervisors and other members of the construction crew.

Experience

• Previous carpentry or general construction experience.
• Good knowledge of construction tools and materials.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Must have CSA-approved construction safety boots.
• Working at Heights certification is an asset.
• Valid driver's licence is an asset.
• Full-time availability.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
