Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team, specializing in residential remodeling and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in framing, trim carpentry, and general construction tasks. This role involves working on a variety of projects including flooring, window and door installation, siding, decks, kitchens, and bathrooms. Candidates should be comfortable working independently when necessary, accurately measuring and cutting materials, and safely operating hand and power tools. A strong work ethic and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, trim, and finish carpentry on residential construction sites
• Assist with various remodeling projects such as flooring, window and door installation, siding, decks, kitchens, and bathrooms
• Measure dimensions accurately using basic math skills and ensure precise cuts of materials
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools required for carpentry tasks
• Work independently or collaboratively to complete construction tasks efficiently
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and adapt to project needs with effective problem-solving
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all phases of construction

Skills

• Proven experience in framing, trim carpentry, and general construction work
• Strong understanding of basic math and dimensional measurements
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install various building materials
• Experience with construction site safety protocols
• Proficiency in operating hand tools and power tools used in carpentry
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently when needed
