Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial builds. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed
• Perform metal building erection, metal stud framing, and rebar installation for structural integrity
• Execute concrete forming, finishing, and rebar placement to create durable foundations and structures
• Carry out drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry to enhance building aesthetics
• Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or performing demolition work
• Collaborate with project managers to interpret construction plans and ensure adherence to safety standards and timelines

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site operations including framing, masonry, roofing, drywall, and restoration projects
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics
• Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation
• Strong understanding of dimensional measurements, tape measure proficiency, and basic math skills for precise work
• Knowledge of metal building erection, steel framing techniques, concrete forming & finishing processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation tasks
• Experience in remodeling projects and working with various materials such as woodworkings or siding
