Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials across a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, strong knowledge of building practices, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications
• Build and install frameworks, including walls, floors, and door/window structures
• Install cabinets, trim, molding, and other finish carpentry elements
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or structures as needed
• Ensure structures are level, square, and properly aligned
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Follow all safety protocols and building codes

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction or a related field
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly
• Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
