Carpenter

Carpenter – Royal Carpentry

Royal Carpentry is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team.

We work mainly across Surrey and South London, carrying out high-quality residential work including extensions, renovations, loft conversions, kitchens and bespoke wardrobes.

The role

You’ll be working on a variety of projects and will need to be confident carrying out work from drawings and taking responsibility for your own tasks.

Work includes:

• First fix and structural carpentry
• Extensions and renovations
• Loft conversions
• Roof work
• Kitchens
• Bespoke wardrobes and fitted furniture
• Second fix and finishing work
• General carpentry and joinery

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has good experience as a carpenter
• Has their own tools
• Has their own transport
• Can read and work from drawings
• Can understand what needs doing and work independently
• Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail
• Is reliable, hardworking and turns up when they say they will
• Can work as part of a team when required
• Has a good standard of workmanship

You won’t be expected to stand around waiting to be told every little task — we need someone who can look at a job, understand what needs doing and get on with it.

The work

The projects are varied, so no two jobs are necessarily the same. We’re looking for someone who enjoys proper carpentry and wants to be involved in quality residential projects rather than repetitive site work.

Experience in extensions, loft conversions, renovations, kitchens or fitted furniture is particularly useful.
