About the Role

We are looking for 20 skilled and reliable Casual Carpenters to support ongoing construction and finishing works. The successful candidates will undertake carpentry, joinery, installation, and related works according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry and joinery works as instructed by the Site Supervisor.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install timber and other related materials.
• Construct and install doors, frames, partitions, ceilings, cabinets, fittings, and other wooden structures.
• Carry out formwork and other temporary timber structures where required.
• Read and work from basic drawings, measurements, and instructions.
• Select and prepare appropriate materials for assigned work.
• Ensure finished carpentry works are properly aligned, levelled, fitted, and finished.
• Carry out repairs, modifications, and maintenance of wooden structures.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
• Work closely with masons, welders, electricians, plumbers, and other construction workers.
• Follow all site safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Report material requirements, damaged tools, or work-related challenges to the supervisor.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Practical experience in carpentry and joinery.
• Ability to measure, cut, assemble, and install timber and related materials.
• Ability to use basic carpentry hand tools and power tools.
• Previous construction, joinery, furniture, or interior fit-out experience is an advantage.
• Ability to follow basic drawings and measurements.
• Must be physically fit and able to work on a construction site.
• Must be reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
