Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for construction, with experience in various carpentry tasks. This role involves working on diverse projects, including roof restoration, installation of fixtures, and general labor tasks. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential.

Duties

• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and installation of structures and fixtures.
• Restore and repair existing structures to maintain integrity and aesthetics.
• Lay tile in various settings, ensuring proper alignment and adherence.
• Use power tools effectively and safely to complete tasks efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
• Participate in construction estimating to assist in project planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction field.
• Knowledge of caulking methods and materials is an asset.
• Proficiency in tile laying with attention to detail is desirable.
• Strong skills in using power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
