Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter with 10 years of experience or moreto join our growing construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to building high-quality projects, from residential remodels to commercial metal buildings, ensuring safety, precision, and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, interpret technical drawings, and bring architectural visions to life with craftsmanship and efficiency.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute projects.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components including metal studs, wood framing, drywall, and trim carpentry.
• Erect metal buildings and perform metal stud framing with precision and safety standards in mind.
• Execute concrete forming, rebar installation, finishing, and plastering to ensure structural integrity.
• Perform roofing tasks such as shingling or metal roofing installation while adhering to safety protocols.
• Handle heavy lifting and operate power tools including saws, drills, welders, and other hand tools efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site while following all safety regulations; assist in restoration or remodeling projects as needed.

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction site environments with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Proficiency in reading construction plans and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in various carpentry techniques including framing, trim work, drywall installation, stucco application, siding, and masonry.
• Knowledge of metal building erection, rebar installation, concrete forming & finishing.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; familiarity with welding is a plus.
• Strong measurement skills using tape measures; basic math skills for dimensional measurements are essential.
• Experience with roofing materials and techniques; adept at working with hand tools for woodworking or plastering tasks.
• Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required on construction sites.
• Familiarity with construction management principles is advantageous for coordinating tasks efficiently.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
