Carpenter

About the role

We are currently looking for experienced Carpenters to join established construction teams working across a range of residential and commercial projects. This is a great opportunity for skilled Carpenters who take pride in their workmanship and are looking for consistent work across quality construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Framing, fit-outs, finishing and general carpentry work
• Reading and working from plans, drawings and specifications
• Measuring, cutting, assembling and installing materials accurately
• Using a range of hand and power tools
• Working independently and as part of a construction team
• Maintaining workplace health and safety standards

About you

• Minimum 3 years' carpentry experience
• Strong residential and/or commercial carpentry experience
• Confident reading and working from plans, drawings and specifications
• Able to measure, cut, assemble and install materials accurately
• Confident using a range of hand and power tools
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a construction team
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
• Full Class 1 NZ Driver License
• Reliable, physically fit and able to maintain a high standard of workmanship
• Trade qualification preferred but not essential for experienced candidates
