About the Role

Ironbond is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team on major roads, bridges, and infrastructure works in the UAE. In this role, you will implement and execute carpentry and shuttering works across infrastructure maintenance projects. The role ensures full compliance with construction standards and applicable structural specifications while promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all personnel, and that site craftsmanship practices comply with company policy, client requirements, and prevailing construction regulations across all project activities.

Job Description

• Perform formwork, shuttering, timber framing, and general carpentry repairs as per project requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution of carpentry works.
• Construct and repair wooden structures, formwork for concrete pouring, scaffolding, and other structural elements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, fiberglass, and other construction materials.
• Ensure all carpentry work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and report defects, material shortages, or site issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Carpenter/Shuttering Carpenter in construction projects.
• Experience in formwork fabrication, structural timber installation, and concrete framework.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of carpentry methods, materials, and site safety practices.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.

Pay: AED1,300.00 - AED1,700.00 per month
