We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Construction Specialist. This role involves a range of tasks related to building and renovation projects, requiring proficiency in various trades. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute fabrication and assembly tasks for various construction projects.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for carpentry, joinery, and roofing tasks.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process.
• Engage in construction painting to ensure high-quality finishes on projects.
• Assist with plumbing installations and repairs as needed.
• Carry out masonry work including bricklaying and stonework.
• Provide electrical support for installations and repairs where applicable.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in fabrication and assembly within a construction setting.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong skills in carpentry and joinery techniques.
• Experience with roofing installations and repairs.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
• Knowledge of construction painting techniques for interior and exterior surfaces.
• Basic plumbing skills with an understanding of installation processes.
• Familiarity with masonry practices including bricklaying and stonework.
